What is the Good News that Jesus proclaimed? Most Christians are familiar with the term Good News or Gospel, but what did these words mean to people living in the first century? Today, we often associate the Gospel with the message of personal salvation and the promise of eternal life. But in the first-century world, the Good News carried a much broader and more profound message: The Kingdom of God has arrived, and Jesus is Lord!
